After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palm Desert, Shadow Hills was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Rancho Mirage Rattlers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Alex Arizaga was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Arizaga was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February.
