Softball Recap: Dunwoody Has No Trouble Against Midtown

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dunwoody). Everything went their way against the Midtown Knights on Monday as they made off with a 13-0 victory. The Wildcats not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 3, 2024 (when they won 13-0).

Kristina Conn was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August of 2024. Kaz McLoughlin was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Dunwoody always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Midtown only posted an OBP of .200.

The win got Dunwoody back to even at 2-2. As for Midtown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Dunwoody will challenge Woodward Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midtown, they will face off against Forest Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
