The Hart County Bulldogs will challenge the Commerce Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hart County is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
Hart County's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over East Jackson.

Chesnee Strickland made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 6 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September of 2024.
In other batting news, Marlee Bowers was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those hits marked the first that she has got this season. Another player making a difference was Erika Royston, who went 3-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.
Hart County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Jackson only posted an OBP of .087.
Meanwhile, Commerce posted their closest victory since September 3, 2024 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Habersham Central 7-6.
Commerce let Alexis Miller and Leah Pittman run wild. Miller went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI, while Pittman went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.
Commerce's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Hart County, the win got them back to even at 14-14.
Everything went Hart County's way against Commerce when the teams last played back in September, as Hart County made off with an 8-0 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
