There's no place like home for the Round Valley Mustangs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They managed a 38-34 win over Anderson Valley on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Round Valley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Round Valley to victory were Claudia Boggs and Ayla Hinman. Boggs scored ten points along with six steals, while Hinman dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hinman has scored all season. Kai-mi Redhawk was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Round Valley now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Anderson Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
Round Valley will head out on the road to square off against Potter Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Potter Valley comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Anderson Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mendocino at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mendocino is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
