Santana hasn't had much luck against West Hills recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Santana Sultans will face off against the West Hills Wolf Pack at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Santana comes in on five and West Hills on ten.
On Tuesday, everything came up roses for Santana against Mount Miguel as the team secured a 54-23 victory. The Sultans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Santana can attribute much of their success to Sam Mora, who posted 17 points and three steals, and Kaliyah Cruz, who put up 14 points and four steals. Mora is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Harper Diaz, who had ten points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, West Hills took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 66-36 win over Valhalla. The Wolf Pack are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the tenth contest they've won by 20+ points this season.
Santana better keep an eye on Jordan Dillon. She was instrumental in West Hills' win, going 10 for 16 to rack up 24 points along with six boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Amber Froehlich, who went 6 of 10 en route to 12 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.
West Hills was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.
West Hills' victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points over those games. As for Santana, their record is now 22-5.
Santana was dealt a bruising 57-21 defeat at the hands of West Hills when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Dillon, who went 8 for 11 on her way to 25 points. Now that Santana knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
