The Webb Schools Gauls will be playing at home against the Silver Valley Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (The Webb Schools has six straight victories, Silver Valley has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
The Webb Schools posted their biggest win yet this season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat E 50-19 at home.
The Webb Schools can attribute much of their success to Xajani Badkar, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds, and Nicole Samson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. Badkar hasn't dropped below two steals for 16 straight games. Pristine Thomas was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 14 rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Silver Valley came up short against Lucerne Valley on Friday and fell 44-36. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Silver Valley in their matchups with Lucerne Valley: they've now lost eight in a row.
The Webb Schools has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Silver Valley, they bumped their record down to 3-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
