The Bishop Ready Silver Knights will face off against the Central Crossing Comets at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Bishop Ready's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Central Crossing has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
Bishop Ready had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Hamilton Township on Monday. The Silver Knights were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Rangers.

Deagan Fought and Alejandro Carbajal made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Fought struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Carbajal pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Bishop Ready is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 7-14 otherwise. At the plate, Fought went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double, while Carbajal went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits Fought has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Alberto Tejada was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Brendan Long, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Bishop Ready kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Central Crossing sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over Madison Plains on Monday.
Central Crossing's win bumped their record up to 4-21. As for Bishop Ready, their victory bumped their record up to 9-15.
Bishop Ready skirted past Central Crossing 10-8 in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Do the Silver Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Comets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
