Tecumseh dropped down to 20-7 on Thursday, ending the team's nine-game streak of wins. They fell 7-3 to the McLoud Redskins. The Savages were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Redskins earlier this season, when they won 4-2.
As for McLoud, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games.
For McLoud's part, Ella Smith was a major factor no matter where she played.
