Chrisman is a perfect 10-0 against Van Horn since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bears will look to defend their home field against the Falcons at 2:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Chrisman barely beat Belton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears never let the Pirates get on the board and left with a 14-0 win on Friday. Considering the Bears' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Jackson Dillard made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. Chrisman is 2-1 when Dillard allows two or fewer hits, but 6-18 otherwise. Dillard was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
