Agnes Irwin's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Simone Harvey, who scored ten points along with three steals. Harvey is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Sarah Shelton was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
Episcopal Academy's win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-12. As for Agnes Irwin, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-12.
Episcopal Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Agnes Irwin, they will head out on the road to take on William Penn Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. William Penn Charter will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Agnes Irwin surely won't give up without a fight.
