The Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 53-20 victory over Mississippi School for the Deaf at home. The win was just what Alabama School for the Deaf needed coming off of a 61-33 defeat in their prior match.
Despite the loss, Mississippi School for the Deaf still got an impressive performance from Learvious Hill, who scored 7 points.
Alabama School for the Deaf's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Alabama School for the Deaf will be playing in front of their home fans against Wadley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Wadley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Friday. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, they will head out on the road to face off against Illinois School for the Deaf at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
