Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Destiny Christian Academy). They walked away with a 58-45 victory over the Casa Roble Rams on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their 22-point performance the match before.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Destiny Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaliyah Wilcox, who posted 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Wilcox has scored at least a third of Destiny Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malay Walls, who put up 16 points.

Destiny Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Casa Roble's loss came despite strong showings from Paisley Canady and Bailey Maloney. Canady had 16 points and four steals, while Maloney posted 14 points and eight rebounds. Canady has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last eight times she's played.

Destiny Christian Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Casa Roble, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Destiny Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-38 victory against Woodland on the 9th. As for Casa Roble, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-33 defeat against Rio Linda on the 10th.
