Lathrop's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Faith Allen led the charge by putting up 14 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Shakara Porter, who posted nine points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Livingston). They really took it to Central Valley for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-34 win. With the Wolves ahead 37-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Livingston's win came from a few key players Lathrop will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Elizabeth Avila, who had 17 points and three steals.
