The International Academy Phoenix can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They put the hurt on Genesee with a sharp 68-47 victory. The win was familiar territory for International Academy who now have three in a row.
Aiden Croak and Connor Rouse certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Croak dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Rouse scored 17 points along with two steals. Croak continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.
International Academy pushed their record up to 10-6 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Genesee, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. International Academy will take on New Standard Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Standard Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something International Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Genesee, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Morrice at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. Genesee is facing Morrice at the right time seeing as Morrice is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
