Michigan High School Basketball - International Academy overwhelms Genesee
February 9, 2024: Genesee, MI 48437 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the International Academy Phoenix (Flint, MI) and the host Genesee Wolves (Genesee, MI), saw International Academy's basketball squad wallop Genesee by a tally of 68-47.
With the victory, International Academy improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Phoenix host New Standard Academy (Flint, MI) to play the Spartans in a Freelance challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 10-5.
Next up, the Wolves play the Morrice Orioles (Morrice, MI) in a Genesee Area - Blue challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Genesee will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Orioles come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 63-22 non-league loss to Corunna (Corunna, MI).
