Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Academy for Classical Education). They never let the Southwest Patriots get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Thursday. The Gryphons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Avery Stone, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Reese Thames, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Academy for Classical Education always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .741. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win (which was Academy for Classical Education's fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Southwest, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road.

As of now, neither Academy for Classical Education nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
