The North Star Cougars will be playing at home against the Rockwood Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Star has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 18.
On Friday, North Star was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 37-33 to the Red Raiders.
Meanwhile, Rockwood was able to grind out a solid win over the Red Raiders last Thursday, taking the game 53-45.
North Star dropped their record down to 3-17 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.5 points per game. As for Rockwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.
