Azusa is on a five-game streak of home losses, Nogales an eight-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Azusa Aztecs will take on the Nogales Nobles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Azusa will be strutting in after a win while Nogales will be coming in after a loss.
Azusa posted their biggest victory since December 4, 2023 on Monday. They breezed by Workman on the road to the tune of 44-12. The win was just what Azusa needed coming off of a 47-24 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Nogales, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-37 loss to Sierra Vista on Monday.
Azusa's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Nogales, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
