Northwest faced Norwalk in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wolves put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 15-9 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won 17 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Northwest and bumps their season record up to 29-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Norwalk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 31-7.
