The Roseville Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 40-30 to Yuba City. Roseville has struggled against the Honkers recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Yuba City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Josie Carrick led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 17 rebounds. Carrick hasn't dropped below two blocks for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Jazlene Casolis, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Roseville has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season. As for Yuba City, their victory bumped their record up to 10-16.
Roseville will head out on the road to face off against the Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Antelope knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matchups -- so hopefully the Tigers like a good challenge. As for Yuba City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bella Vista is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
