It was a good run, but the Saegertown Panthers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to Cochranton 46-41. Saegertown has not had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Eve Pfeiffer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Cochranton, scoring 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Macie Williams, who scored five points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Saegertown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Cochranton, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saegertown will face off against the Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Union City will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Cochranton is on the road again on Thursday and plays the Devils at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th.
