Venture Academy has gone a perfect 3-0 against Delta Charter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Venture Academy Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Delta Charter Dragons at 3:30 p.m. Venture Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Delta Charter likes a good challenge.
If Venture Academy beats Delta Charter with 11 runs on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Venture Academy put the hurt on West with a sharp 11-3 win on Tuesday. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.
Maison Gouker made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Venture Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .483. However, it's not like Delta Charter struggles in that department as they've averaged .433. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Venture Academy took their victory against Delta Charter in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2. Does Venture Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Delta Charter turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
