Foothill is 0-5 against West Campus since May of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. Foothill will look to defend their home field against West Campus at 4:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Foothill lost 30-10 to Johnson on Saturday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Julian Tripp put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season.
In other batting news, Aiden Carvalho made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole four bases while going 4-for-5. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Jose Barraza, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, West Campus waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 19-10 margin over the Panthers. 19 seems to be a good number for the Warriors as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
West Campus got a massive performance out of Maxton Creeger, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his six plate appearances. Creeger has become a key player for West Campus: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 3-5 otherwise. Jonah Lee was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-5.
West Campus kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 12.6.
West Campus pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Foothill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Foothill has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like West Campus struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Foothill suffered a grim 14-5 defeat to West Campus in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Foothill have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
