Grand Terrace is 9-1 against Colton since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Grand Terrace Titans' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Colton Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Grand Terrace extended their postseason success on Saturday against Carpinteria. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warriors and snuck past 39-37.
Grand Terrace can attribute much of their success to Mikhia Anderson, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, and Jayleen Barajas, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Barajas is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, in a tight game that could have gone either way, Colton made off with a 54-53 victory over Desert Hot Springs. The win made it back-to-back wins for Colton.
Grand Terrace is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for Colton, their victory bumped their record up to 21-6.
Grand Terrace and Colton were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but Grand Terrace came up empty-handed after a 53-52 defeat. Can Grand Terrace avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
