Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Antelope Valley Antelopes walked away with it. They took their game on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 65-30 victory over the Lions. Antelope Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 23 points or more this season.
Antelope Valley was led to victory by Jenesis Deering and Ariana Soil. Deering scored 22 points, while Soil scored 31 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Soil has scored at least a third of Antelope Valley's points.
The victory made it two in a row for Antelope Valley and bumps their season record up to 12-6. As for Le Lycee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
Antelope Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-32 win vs. Bloomington on the 10th. Le Lycee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
