San Pedro is on a six-game streak of home wins, while the Colts are on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The San Pedro Pirates will take on the Carson Colts at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, San Pedro didn't have too much trouble with the Panthers on the road as they won 48-33.
San Pedro had a senior duo take command as Noelani Raigans scored 20 points along with four steals and Shalia Coleman scored 16 points along with two steals. Coleman is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last six games she's played.
Meanwhile, Carson can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Rancho Dominguez 56-25 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-12.
San Pedro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Carson, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.
San Pedro was able to grind out a solid victory over the Colts in their previous meeting back in January, winning 54-41. Will San Pedro repeat their success, or do the Colts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
