In what's become a running theme this season, the James Logan Colts gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They breezed by San Leandro on the road to the tune of 71-22. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory James Logan has managed all season.
Vanessa Parilla continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cierra Gallardo, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
James Logan pushed their record up to 14-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for San Leandro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James Logan will take on Moreau Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Leandro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oakland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Oakland will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
