Temple had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Paulding County Patriots by a score of 5-3 on Thursday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Jalen Wirth and Juan Rosas scored all five of Temple's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
