There's no place like home for the Bowie Pirates, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past Rivercrest with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 50-32. For Bowie, this counts as revenge for the 57-30 defeat Rivercrest walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Rivercrest lost, one person who can't be blamed is Anna Duvall. Despite the final result, she scored 20 points.
Bowie's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9. As for Rivercrest, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-17.
Bowie will head out on the road to challenge Maud at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rivercrest, they will be playing at home against Harts Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
