Shasta's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joriana Gibbens-egolf, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Bria Tate, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Shasta's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Red Bluff, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.
Shasta will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Foothill is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.1 points per game this season. As for Red Bluff, they will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chico is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
