The City School Lions lost against the Kimberton Waldorf Bulls back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The City School received a tough blow as they fell 46-31 to Kimberton Waldorf. While losing is never fun, The City School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Kimberton Waldorf is ranked tenth).
Leading Kimberton Waldorf to victory were Kira Sorzano and Ciara O'Hara. Sorzano dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds, while O'Hara scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which O'Hara has scored at least 25% of Kimberton Waldorf's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Camron Nixon, who scored 5 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks.
The City School now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Kimberton Waldorf, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The City School will take on Villa Victoria Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they will be playing at home against Coventry Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
