Harker is 8-2 against Pinewood since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will welcome the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Harker has three straight wins, Pinewood has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Harker came out on top against Westmoor on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run sixth inning. The Eagles blew past the Rams 16-1. Considering the Eagles have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Matt Macmillan spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up nine Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Harker is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-4 otherwise.
