The Purchase Line Red Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 66-31 win over Harmony Area. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Purchase Line has managed all season.
Anna Layden was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Syster, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and four steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Purchase Line and bumps their season record up to 4-8. As for Harmony Area, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Purchase Line and Conemaugh Township will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 17th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Conemaugh Township focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. As for Harmony Area, they will head out on the road to challenge Moshannon Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
