The St. Bonaventure Seraphs will face off against the Fillmore Flashes at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as St. Bonaventure comes in on four and Fillmore on three.
Last Thursday, St. Bonaventure made easy work of Foothill Tech and carried off a 62-42 victory. The Seraphs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

St. Bonaventure found their leader in sophomore Sarah Cosio, who went 8 for 20 on her way to 21 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. Cosio's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Bella Rico was another key player, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten boards.
St. Bonaventure smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fillmore). They claimed a resounding 61-12 win over Hueneme. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Flashes with their most commanding win of the season.
St. Bonaventure better keep an eye on Yaneli Landin. She was instrumental in Fillmore's win, almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. Those 18 points gave Landin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hermelinda Ocegueda, who posted six points along with eight boards and six steals.
Fillmore's victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for St. Bonaventure, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: St. Bonaventure just can't miss this season, having nailed 48.5% of their shots per game. It's a different story for Fillmore, though, as they've only made 29.2% of their field goals this season. Given St. Bonaventure's sizable advantage in that area, Fillmore will need to find a way to close that gap.
Everything came up roses for St. Bonaventure against Fillmore in their previous meeting back in December of 2016, as the team secured a 63-20 victory. In that game, St. Bonaventure amassed a halftime lead of 31-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
