Baseball Recap: Hardaway Wins Going Away Against Manchester

Hardaway barely beat Manchester the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hardaway Hawks blew past the Manchester Blue Devils 13-2 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won eight games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Keshaun Davis, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Kei'Shawn Neal also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Hardaway is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. Manchester is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10-1.

Hardaway didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-3 victory against Spencer on the 18th. As for Manchester, they will head out to challenge Trion at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Trion will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Manchester surely won't give up without a fight.
