The Panorama Pythons are taking a road trip to square off against the Diego Rivera Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Panorama has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Diego Rivera will arrive with five straight victories.
Panorama is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Van Nuys on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Panorama was beaten by Van Nuys 76-33. While losing is never fun, the Pythons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1001st, while the Wolves are ranked 487th).

Panorama better focus on containing Brianna Collins and Desiree Aguillon as the pair were huge in Diego Rivera's win. Collins posted 29 points in addition to eight boards and seven steals, while Aguillon put up 18 points along with six steals and five assists. Collins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last 41 games she's played dating back to last season. Da'Leja Dodd was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.
Diego Rivera was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Panorama has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 29.1 boards per game. However, it's not like Diego Rivera struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.9 rebounds.
