Rutland came into Tuesday's match having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Westside Seminoles on Tuesday. The Hurricanes' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last eight games.

Aubrey Moore was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August. Ava Bean was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three runs.

Rutland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .680. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Rutland's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-18. As for Westside, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
