Forbes Road won the last time they faced the Shade Panthers, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Forbes Road enjoyed a cozy 59-41 victory over Shade. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Forbes Road.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Forbes Road to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ginnah Kendall, who scored 22 points. The game was Kendall's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Skiles, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.
The win got Forbes Road back to even at 4-4. As for Shade, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Forbes Road won't have much time to rest: their next match is against McConnellsburg at 7:30 a.m. on January 4th. McConnellsburg is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Shade, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Windber at 7:15 p.m. Windber is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
