High Point Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adonai Tyrance out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. Jack Carter was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
High Point Central's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11. As for Eastern Guilford, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
High Point Central will head out on the road to square off against the Rams at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in North Carolina (Northeast Guilford is ranked 362nd, while the Bison are ranked 361st). As for Eastern Guilford, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Rockingham County is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
