After soaring high against McGregor last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Lake of the Woods/Indus/Rainy River took a serious blow against South Ridge, falling 22-60. If Lake of the Woods/Indus/Rainy River were expecting to get some payback for the 0-62 loss against South Ridge the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped Lake of the Woods/Indus/Rainy River back to even at 1-1. The win bumped South Ridge's record up to 2-0.
Lake of the Woods/Indus/Rainy River are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Ely next week at 7:00 PM. As for South Ridge, they will face off against Mountain Iron-Buhl.
