The Webb Schools can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Pacifica Christian/Orange County 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but The Webb Schools was the better team in the second half.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Kate Cook and
Reagan Ollivierre, who scored both of The Webb Schools' goals. The pair have combined for a total of two so far this season.
The Webb Schools now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Pacifica Christian/Orange County, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-4-1.
The Webb Schools the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Fairmont Prep at 3:15 p.m. on January 26th. Fairmont Prep will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. As for Pacifica Christian/Orange County, they will head out on the road to challenge Western Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
