The Antelope Valley Antelopes extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Bloomington Bruins. They were the clear victor by a 52-32 margin over the Bruins. Antelope Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.
Ariana Soil was her usual excellent self, scoring 38 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Antelope Valley's points. Jenesis Deering was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Antelope Valley's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.7 points. As for Bloomington, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
Antelope Valley will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 5:30 p.m. Hawthorne Math & Science Academy's defense has only allowed 23.9 points per game this season, so Antelope Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them. Bloomington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
