It was another big night for Mia Lim, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Sarah Banh, who scored five points along with five steals.
Marshall's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madelyn Degooyer, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Destiny Ihiaso was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Gabrielino's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. As for Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
