Meanwhile, Meadowbrook Christian didn't have too much trouble with Northumberland Christian at home on Friday as they won 39-24. Given Meadowbrook Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while Northumberland Christian is ranked 510th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meadowbrook Christian found their leader in underclassman Madalyn Fasnacht, who scored 19 points along with eight steals. Fasnacht has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Kailey Devlin was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
Juniata has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Meadowbrook Christian, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.
