The Borrego Springs Rams won the last time they faced the San Pasqual Academy Dragons, and things went their way on Friday too. Borrego Springs walked away with a 29-17 win over the Dragons.
Borrego Springs' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michelle Llamas, who scored nine points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dulce Morales, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Borrego Springs' victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for San Pasqual Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Borrego Springs will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on February 9th. As for San Pasqual Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the RoadRunners at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calexico Mission comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 11 points in their last nine games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
