State records fell in Tennessee, California and Oklahoma following impressive performances in last week's playoff games.
Charlie High of Christian Academy of Knoxville (Tenn.)
led the way with six state records in the Class 3A state championship game. He had the top passing performance in the country, as reported to MaxPreps, with 476 yards and seven touchdowns in a 49-14 win over Milan.
Tanner Trosin of Folsom (Calif.), meanwhile, became the first California passer to ever throw for more than
5,000 yards in a season after finishing with 407 yards in a 39-35 loss to Vacaville. Trosin ends the season with 5,185 yards passing and 6,349 yards of total offense, also a state record.
Sheldon Wilson of Anadarko (Okla.) rushed for 390 yards and four touchdowns in a 32-7 win over Berryhill in the Oklahoma 3A state semifinals last week,
setting a record for touchdowns in a season and a career.
