After flying high against Alliance Christian  last Tuesday, Harrisburg Academy came back down to earth. The Harrisburg Academy Spartans fell  50-37 to Covenant Christian Academy on Monday. The Spartans were not able to make up for their  defeat to Covenant Christian Academy from their previous meeting  back in January.
 Harrisburg Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Amira Appel, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 16  points and nine  boards. Another player making a difference was  Addy Rosenburg, who  went 5 of 10  on her way to 10  points in addition to six  boards and five  steals.
Harrisburg Academy's defeat was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Covenant Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
 Harrisburg Academy and York Country Day will compete for holiday cheer  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Covenant Christian Academy will take on Dayspring Christian Academy in a holiday battle at  at 5:15  p.m.  on Friday.
