Northridge Academy won the last time they faced East Valley and things went their way on Monday too. The Northridge Academy Pumas simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the East Valley Falcons 59-9. The Pumas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Northridge Academy was led to victory by Janelle Estrella and Jennalyn Gerona. Estrella dropped a triple-double with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and ten assists, while Gerona dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Estrella a new career-high in blocks (four). Another player making a difference was Ahani Tellez, who posted six points along with six boards and three steals.

Northridge Academy pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.1 points over those games. As for East Valley, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Northridge Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-17 victory against Vaughn on the 6th. As for East Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 21-11 defeat against Fulton on the 6th.
