Newark Memorial has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for American, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Newark Memorial will be playing at home against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Irvington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Cougars in California (the Vikings are ranked 233rd, while the Cougars are ranked 805th). As for American, they will head out on the road to take on the Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully James Logan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Wednesday.
