The Neshannock Lancers lost against Lincoln Park Performing Arts back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Neshannock had to suffer through a rough 88-38 loss at the hands of Lincoln Park Performing Arts. Neshannock was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-18.
Lincoln Park Performing Arts was led to victory by Maddie Syka and Jla Kizart. Syka dropped a double-double on 24 points and 10 assists, while Kizart dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 steals. The game was Kizart's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Scott, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Neshannock's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Lincoln Park Performing Arts, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Neshannock will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Freedom Area at 7:30 p.m. Lincoln Park Performing Arts will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Shady Side Academy at 1:30 p.m. on December 16th.
